Start AI Lab

To stay ahead of developments in the Artificial Intelligence field and leverage these technologies for Pon, we launched a new team within our department: the AI Lab. Expanding on our collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, we will have 4 dedicated PhD students focusing on computer vision.

To start 2020 in a good fashion, we organized a full day at the Clubhuis at the Automotive campus in Leusden to brainstorm on this subject. Numerous ideas were generated and shared amongst the group, which included the VU Professor Sandjai Bhulai and Pon CIO Ton van Dijk. Next up are sessions with the various Pon business units.

We look back on a successful launch and forward to strong business applications in the future!
