Lensor wins Innovation Award
The Innovation Awards, an initiative of ICT Media, were presented yesterday during CIO&CDO Insights, an annual event for digital decision-makers in business and government. All nominees presented their cases to the public and the independent jury.
“The jury was positively surprised this year by the high level of the entrants, as well as the continuous innovation of the market,” said Vice-President Anja Dekhuijzen. “As a jury, we therefore opted for an additional award for Most successful business innovation during the process.” Lensor, part of Pon Holdings, is the recipient of this award. “A party that can be called very innovative, but that was born in the Datalab of a corporate,” says Wesselman.
Lensor, represented at the event by Robin van Ruitenbeek, has built a system involving multiple internal and external parties. “An automated vehicle inspection that generates very accurate damage reports using AI and computer vision,” says Van Ruitenbeek. Wesselman: “A very practical solution for lease and rental companies, and also in the interests of drivers. A typical ‘Made in Holland’ innovation that will undoubtedly go around the world.”
Thomas Bunnik, founder and CEO of Whoppah, an online marketplace for second-hand design furniture, is the winner of the Innovation Award in the category Most innovative leader. Santeon won the award for the Most innovative ecosystem. TestGorrilla took the prize in the category Most successful startup, scaleup or challenger.
