Datalab welcomes two new trainees
Last year, we introduced the Pon Data Science traineeship. During this two-year program, data science trainees work 20 hours per week, completing three projects of eight months at three different operating companies. This September, two new trainees, Abdellah Louchahi and Marieke van der Meulen, will start as Data Science trainees.
Marieke has been fascinated by human behaviour since childhood. She has several years of experience in acting and presenting, and has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences to learn more about human behaviour. After finding out that data science appealed to her as well, she completed a second Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, while also working as junior consultant at both KPMG and Unipartners. In September she will start her Master’s degree in Data Science at the Utrecht University.
Abdellah started his studies at the TU Delft, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He then completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics at the VU University and lived in South Korea during one semester for an exchange program at the Korea University. Abdellah is a highly analytical problem solver who loves to work in teams. In September he will start his Master’s degree in Business Analytics at the VU University.
In September 2021, Tim van Walsem and Julia Hazenberg started their trainee period. Currently, they are working on their second project at respectively Pon Logistics and DOCKR. Read more about their first projects at BMS and Porsche here. Because of the succes of the first batch of Data Science trainees, we hired two new trainees, who will start in September.
