New team members &
a collaboration with VU

This month, two new team members joined the Datalab team: Jesper Slik and Marie-Anne Beens. Jesper will be combining his work for the Datalab with his PhD at the analytics & optimization department of the VU. This is part of a new, official collaboration between the VU and Pon. Jesper has a background in consultancy and sports; he was Dutch National champion in mountain biking under 23.

Next to Jesper, Marie-Anne joined the Datalab team. Previously, Marie-Anne was a Management Trainee at Pon and finished four different assignments at four business groups within Pon. She will use her experience in the business and her background in Econometrics in her role at Datalab to enable Pon to seize even more data-driven business opportunities.
